Donald Steel, the internationally renowned links architect, has effected a reconstruction of Carnegie’s original course at Skibo, to provide an outstanding natural 18 hole championship links (the first in Scotland since 1948). Sited in spectacular and wild scenery with views of the Struie Hill, the course is bounded on three sides by the estuarial waters of the firth that affords an abundance of wildlife. The 18 holes course holds a wide range of tees to suit all standards of play, and is for the exclusive use of club members and their guests and is now said by many to be one of the worlds greatest courses over 7,000 yards.
